Greetings, I was wondering what you guys listened to whilst playing BoA, you know to get that fantasy feel, or whatever feel you try to achieve? Well, anything by Paul van Dyk (But specificly the album Out There and Back) is a good electronic feel, but not too spacey too diminish the fantasy setting of the game. I'd also reccomend Bond, which is a great neoclassical group. Edit: I think we've had topics like this before.... I usually don't listen to any music while playing computer games. I think it kind of interferes with the sound effects, and makes both the song and the game music sound bad. -------------------- The Club of All Chance Forums I was once member #2475, but then my account was deleted because of a bug. My music of choice while playing ANY of the SW games would be Finnish hip-hop. Try sometime, it works! -------------------- - The Great Mister kommari@gmail.com[/url] Posts: 972 | Registered: Tuesday, October 28 2003 08:00 |

I don't listen to anything in particular to "add to the mood," just what I like at the time, which currently is OK Computer (which I keep coming back to) and The Shins. Posts: 2242 | Registered: Saturday, April 10 2004 07:00 |

Fantasy-themed metal. Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, and Manowar are all good. I just put on the untitled Zeppelin album (also known as IV or Runes) and let it go. Playing BoE, I listened to the music that I had most recently gotten ahold of, which happened to be Duran Duran and the Beatles, so now whenever I see BoE floors, I hear "Rio" and "Eleanor Rigby" and the like playing through my head. This increases my dementia, not my mood, so I have decided to avoid that for BoA. I should NOT post at 3 am. -------------------- Kelandon's Pink and Pretty Page!! Finnish Hip-hop?! Tristrana, for the sake of your sanity, I hope you're not serious. I like to listen to themes of old westerns when I'm playing blades or other spidweb games. Metroid Prime soundtrack is also good. -------------------- Dont think that the glass is half empty or half full. Think that the liquid is not worth of drinking anyway. Mmh. I never listen to music while I'm playing a game, only when I'm working. I've got just one big playlist for everything, too. There are even some things in it which I don't like at all but could never bother to remove, so I just skip to the next if they come up. -------------------- Visit The Santharian Dream and its RP board. My iTunes playlist is also on random when I play BoE or whatever game (or application). 1000 songs can't be all bad. -------------------- That is why particles of milk fat stay together and form insoluble globules. Posts: 771 | Registered: Tuesday, December 11 2001 08:00 |

Thank you, Saunders, milady, but no thanks. I have no intentions in involving in sexual action with animals. Don't know if it's common there, but not 'round here, I can assure you. Arctic is *just an exception*, and it's not his fault that drunk men like to abuse him. Also, is Messiah the *real* Scorp, or just someone with the word 'scorp' in his/her e-mail? From the profile info, I'd say tbe real one. I don't listen to any music while I play BoA. I like to hear the game's background noises and sound effects clearly as I play ? it helps establish the mood, and further adds to the illusion of actually being there. -------------------- A.E. van Vogt (1912-2000) The World's Most Influential Science Fiction Writer Author of such classics as Slan (1940), The World of Null-A (1945), The Voyage of the Space Beagle (1950), and The Weapon Shops of Isher (1951) Visit my website about him at www.home.earthlink.net/~icshi/ Posts: 907 | Registered: Monday, July 15 2002 07:00 |
